A trained nurse practitioner can check women successfully for breast abnormalities, British researchers reported yesterday. A study in Wales suggests that the nurses can be as successful as a consultant breast surgeon. During the research a nurse and a surgeon examined 126 women and agreed in 92 per cent of cases.
