Sanctuary Care

Sanctuary Care was established in 1995 to provide older people with high-quality nursing and residential care. Since then, the organisation has gone from strength to strength and is now a leading provider of care homes.

Sanctuary Care is part of Sanctuary Group, one of the UK's leading providers of housing, care and community services. Sanctuary Group employs in excess of 10,700 people and manages over 97,000 homes throughout England and Scotland, including general rented, retirement living, supported housing, student and key worker accommodation and care homes. Sanctuary also provides a range of services which include housing management, maintenance, social care and telecare.

As a non-profit distributing organisation, we reinvest our surplus income into our services and business growth rather than distribute it to shareholders. This enables Sanctuary to maintain high standards, develop our services and invest in people and communities.

At Sanctuary Care we appreciate everyone is different so our focus is on creating care and support packages that are tailored to each and every one of our residents – ensuring we deliver the highest standards of care. On the rare occasion that we do receive complaints about Sanctuary Care, we always work closely with our residents and their loved ones to quickly resolve them.
