Job Description

Airedale is a high performing Foundation Trust (consistently in the top 10 nationally for the quality of care, and recently rated in the lowest risk band by CQC) providing personalised, acute, elective, community and specialist care services of a high standard for local people in an area extending from the fringes of north Bradford to parts of the Yorkshire Dales National Park – a community of over 220,000 people across 700 square miles within Yorkshire and Lancashire. The Trust was recently named as runner up in the Dr Foster Trust of the Year awards having also won the ‘Small Trust of the Year’ four times since 2006, and has recently received the CHKS award for patient safety, along with a range of other awards. The Trust has close to the lowest Hospital Standardised Mortality Rate in England.

Airedale is a highly ambitious Foundation Trust and has already established an excellent reputation for innovative developments. It has been developing its telemedicine expertise over the past seven years in order to provide better patient experience, and provide a range of different telehealth solutions to provide a full end-to-end service to support new care pathways incorporating assistive technology.

Recognised nationally for being innovative and at the forefront of change, we are working closely with partners to re-shape how services are delivered, moving towards an approach centred on patient orchestrated care. Our talented and committed staff are rightfully proud of the outstanding care we provide.
