This is a rewarding but demanding post that requires committed and dedicated nurses to provide quality care to infants, children, young people and their families/carers from a diverse population.
The Children’s Emergency Department at the Hillingdon Hospital is a separate unit based within the main Emergency Department. On average 25% of our Emergency attendances are infants, children and young people. We endeavour to provide the highest possible level of care to them at all times.
The department has close links with the paediatric wards, specialist nurses and our community nursing team.
A passion for children’s Emergency Care Nursing with proven Communication skills, Assessment skills, enthusiasm and the ability to be flexible are the qualities that will enable you to fulfil this role.
