Job Description

Clayton Recruitments specialist Nursing Division are recruiting for a Senior Staff Nurse (RGN / RMN) with experience supporting individuals with ABI, Neurobehavioral rehabilitation, complex behavioural disabilities arising from organic disorders. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Nurses to join the existing, highly skilled specialist team to deliver comprehensive assessment and treatment, high quality clinical inputs and rehabilitation programmes to the individuals that reside at our client's private Hospital in Northampton.

In this exciting specialist role you will receive a generous salary of Band 5/6 and have access to the company's excellent employee benefits package.

Main Duties and Responsibilities,
To participate in setting and monitoring standards of care and to participate in quality improvement programmes as required.
To ensure that the statutory requirements of the Mental Health Act (2007) and the Code of Practice (2008) are adhered to in the case of detained patients.
To take responsibility for the quality of the service provided.
To supervise and manage staff allocated to his/her team, on a shift by shift basis.
To administer and monitor the effects and side effects of medication and all aspects of medication management in line with the Trust and NMC guidelines.
Participate in clinical review meetings, including CPA, Section 117 and Supervised Discharge.
To ensure that Nursing Records meet the standards of the NMC guidelines and local policies.
To provide accurate and appropriate information and support to relatives, carers and visitors of patients in the care setting, in line with the Data Protection Act (1998).
