We are recruiting for Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners!
We can provide flexible shifts to fit with your needs and lifestyle, whether you would like a permanent full time/part-time opportunity or a flexi contract to fit around you and your other commitments. This ANP post is to work with our fantastic team at Suffolk Out of Hours, to work shifts during the Service opening times of:
Monday–Friday - 18:30 – 08:00
Weekends and Bank Holidays - 24 hours
We offer flexibility in the shifts you will undertake, however we are looking in particular to cover the following times;
•Ipswich GP Base 1830-2359 every weekday evening
•Overnight GP shift in Bury on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
•Overnight GP shift in Ipswich on Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
•Overnight ANP/GP shift in Ipswich on Friday & Saturday (weeks 1, 2 & 4)
•Friday evenings generally hard to fill in all areas
•Saturday & Sunday – 0800-2359 Ipswich base GP & Bury Base GP
Skills and Experience
In this role you will be delivering face-to-face and telephone services enabling patients to obtain health advice from the appropriate health care professional. You will be responsible for assessing patients, plan their care, administer treatment and discharge them or refer them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals / external agencies. This will include prescribing for patients as required. You will need to have experience as an autonomous Nurse Practitioner, will hold a Nurse Prescribing certificate and be competent to prescribe for patients and ideally haver experience within an Out of Hours/Urgent Care environment.
Qualifications & Experience
You will be:
A qualified RN
A recognised Nurse prescriber
Skilled in triage and minor illness
