We are one of the largest specialist mental health and learning disabilities trusts in the country, with an annual income of £320m and a workforce of some 6,700 staff operating from around 160 sites in Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and York and Selby. We provide a range inpatient and community services to 2m people living in County Durham, the Tees Valley, Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Harrogate, Hambleton and Richmondshire. We also provide additional specialist services to other parts of Northern England.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a key leadership role within the Mental Health Services for Older Persons (MHSOP) Acute Liaison Team based in Darlington.
The successful candidate will be a forward thinking innovative person with excellent communication skills. You will be a natural motivator with an inclusive approach, confident in coaching and developing others such that they achieve their full potential. You will have significant experience in MHSOP with the ability to share this knowledge with others. Communication is a key element of this role and your skills in this area will be well developed with experience in communicating with a range of professionals. Your focus will be on the needs of the patients and with a willingness to advocate on their behalf.
