Job Description

We are looking for an Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in ambulatory care to join our expanding APNP team. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated and dynamic APNP’s to join our multidisciplinary team.

We are looking for innovative, forward thinking clinicians who have a background in Paediatric ambulatory care, who are independent nurse prescribers and hold a MSC in advanced Paediatric practice.

The role of the APNP is evolving and the post holder will be proactive in developing this role further, to meet the challenging changes in Paediatric health care.

PAU takes referrals from GP’s, ED and community services and offers a 24 hour service, 7 days a week taking an average of 25 referrals a day.

We are a team of highly dedicated consultants and nurses who work collaboratively to deliver high quality care to our patients and their families.

This trust is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults and requires all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The Paediatric unit at LTHTR is a 30 bedded acute medical/surgical ward which incorporates a high dependency unit delivering level 1 care.

The level of check required depends on the role that you have been offered.
