Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic Midwife/ Advanced Practitioner Sonographer looking for a full or part time opportunity? We want you to join our friendly, dedicated team in Obstetric Ultrasound.

Why join us? We are a forward thinking Sonographer led unit with the latest state of the art GE ultrasound equipment. We can offer you a range of obstetric ultrasound experience including early pregnancy, routine screening and maternal/ fetal medicine assessment. The department also supports the Tertiary Fetal Medicine Referral Centre. You will have the opportunity to participate in teaching, research and audit as well as multidisciplinary team meetings using these activities to contribute to your own continuing professional development and that of other members of the team.

We are proactive in promoting learning and supporting research in Maternity Services. We welcome both applicants who wish to specialise in Obstetric Ultrasound only, and those who wish to work across the Obstetric and General Ultrasound services delivered within the Trust.

Whether you are a new Sonographer looking for that first step into Obstetrics or an experienced Sonographer looking to broaden your skill set this is an exciting opportunity to join our hardworking, friendly team which is firmly focused on delivering a high quality and responsive Ultrasound Service

We are currently able to offer a £4500 p.a (pro rata) recruitment and retention premium (subject to terms and conditions) in addition to the many other benefits offered by the Trust to its employees.
