Spire Murrayfield Hospital is located in Thingwall on the Wirral and is a single storey building set in picturesque surroundings. Built in 1982, Murrayfield has a broad range of specialities with 57 beds including a 2 bed HDU and 3 theatres. The hospital serves a geographically defined area formed by the Wirral peninsular with the majority of patients drawn from within a 10 mile radius.
You will provide exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention supporting the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre, taking on the specialist role in anaesthetics.

Our theatre team works closely with some of the region's leading consultants and are exposed to the latest innovative, evidence -based clinical techniques. Our real driving force is our ability to invest in our people, as we support our Theatre Nurses / ODPs to build their skills through mentoring and formal training such as ALS and PILS.
Candidates must be willing to work flexibly and across specialities primarily within Anaesthetics. Most important is that our Theatre Nurses/ODPs are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures, or are willing to learn new skills under expert supervision. We are also keen to promote from within the Spire network, so if you are looking for a long term career with advancement opportunities you will find them at Spire. A number of our Theatre Nurses/ODPs have gone on to secure Theatre Team Leader and Theatre Manager posts and we are very keen to encourage these ambitions.
Salary will be dependent upon experience.
