The Priory Lodge School is a school for young people aged 7-19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. Located in Roehampton, SW London we aim to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment.
We are looking to appoint a qualified Assistant Head Teacher who will be responsible for observation of teachers/teaching assistants including the offering of feedback and creative ways as to how to make lessons outstanding; Clearly evidencing your findings and using data from observations to show progress; Mentoring and line management of staff; Ensuring consistency of practice and expectation in every classroom; Leading behaviour management across the school and implementing reward systems and sanctions; Developing strategies to improve pupil attendance across the school.
