Assistant Operations Director

Job Description
Job Purpose: 

Assists the Operations Director with all aspects of Area performance, including culture and people leadership, project planning and delivery and robust quality assurance, leading to improved quality of care, improved quality of life for Residents, and improved commercial performance. 

Deputises for the Operations Director as required. 

Supports home managers to improve performance against quality and commercial objectives. 
Leads specific business development projects in the area primarily focussed on transformation, new or repositioned services and implementing new initiatives. 

Champions change and improved practice and operation across homes. 

Working Environment: 

Able to work remotely and be home based. 

Flexible to travel at least 4 days per week across your area, including overnight. 

Be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in a Healthcare environment. 

Preferably be a Registered nurse or hold another Social Care/Healthcare related Professional Qualification. 

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should: 

Have comprehensive knowledge of Regulation and Legislation in the care sector. 

Have demonstrable knowledge and experience of Adult Safeguarding issues. 

Have experience of management of multi-site locations. 

Have experience of management of finance systems and budgets. 

Be able to prepare and implement actions arising from performance and audit reports.
