Bank – Assistant Theatre Practitioners (student nurses/student operating department practitioners)

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated student nurses, with an interest in surgery and student operating department practitioners to join our staff bank as assistant theatre practitioners to gain valuable experience during your studies. This will not form any of your clinical hours commitments.

There are opportunities to work alongside our theatre teams on all 3 surgical sites – Calderdale Royal Hospital Theatres, Huddersfield Royal Infirmary Main Theatres and Day Surgery Unit.

You will need to possess excellent communication skills and be expected to deliver high quality care for patients across all areas of the department.

You will be required to partake in a flexible work pattern to meet the needs of the service working days, evenings and weekends.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
