Cygnet Hospital Blackheath is 32 bedded male service with 2 wards; a 17 bedded Low Secure ward (Meridian ward) and a 15 bedded PICU (Tyler ward).

From you, we’ll need a minimum of 18 months psychiatric experience and you must be both a team player and able to work autonomously, with the ability to contribute effectively to service development. Applicants must also have full registration with the GMC including a Licence to Practice. In return, you will be working with a dynamic and focused team, with access to ongoing opportunities to support your Continuing Professional Development.
We offer personal development opportunities by the way of link with the academic program for medical staff at the GMC and there will also be the opportunity to undertake clinically relevant research, audit and contribute to the unit quality improvement initiatives. You will also support the service by contributing to CQUIN submissions.
