Following the Shaping a Healthier Future reconfiguration of Paediatric services in North West London, the Paediatric unit at Hillingdon has gone through a major transformation and refurbishment, including the recent opening of our new, state of the art Paediatric A+E and Paediatric Assessment Unit; and the opening of our newly expanded paediatric inpatient ward in September.
The Paediatric inpatient ward at The Hillingdon Hospital consists of a 24-bedded general medical and surgical ward, which includes a level 1 POSCU, 6-bedded Paediatric Day Care Unit and a Paediatric outpatients department. Paediatric services at Hillingdon also consists of our award winning, dedicated diabetes team; Paediatric respiratory and allergy services; the Paediatric community nursing team; Paediatric A&E department; neonatal unit and child development centre.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a multi-disciplinary team to join our fantastic Paediatric department.
