Birmingham Community Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust is looking for enthusiastic and committed Community Staff Nurses to promote the health and well being of school aged children in line with the Healthy Child Programme. We are looking for qualified nurses with strong clinical skills and knowledge of public health issues. They should also be committed to team working and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
The post holders will work with their allocated schools within the community to assess the health needs of individual children and the school population as a whole. They will proactively address factors affecting health, following developed Care Pathways to ensure that children and young people achieve the best possible outcomes.
The post holders will provide targeted interventions to work with vulnerable children and families to protect children and reduce the risks of social exclusion and health inequalities.
