Job Description



Sunrise A ward is a 31 bedded Acute Elderly Medical ward. We are one of four acute elderly wards at Queens Hospital. This ward seeks a Registered General Nurse who is enthusiastic and who has good team spirit to work on this unit. Our focus and expectations are to provide high quality holistic care to elderly patients. The applicant is expected to be a role model for student nurses and have a passion for caring for the elderly.

Essential criteria for this post include:

Ambition to provide the highest standard of care.
Interest in care of the elderly and dementia
A positive and caring attitude
Good communication skills

All new staff appointed to posts at the Trust are subject to a probationary period. This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the culture and working environment of the Trust.
