Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to join our Altrincham Renal Unit.

The Altrincham renal unit provides out -patient haemodialysis care for 80 patients in an off site unit.
A key philosophy of the unit is to ensure we keep patients out of hospitals and in their own communities.We achieve this by frequent communication to the primary health care givers, social enterprise organisations and other stakeholders in patient care. Altrincham Renal Unit has been accreditated is a double gold unit and is regonised at Trust level for the Brilliant basic work we have undertaken.

You will support the Ward Manager in delivering Trust and national objectives and who can lead and manager their own team. You will have a proven record of embracing the Culture of continuous improvement and can demonstrate they have work with Service improvement methodologies to improve patient outcomes.

You will have;

*First level registration - (RN(Adult)
*Evidence of Level 3 studies
*A relevant teaching qualification
*Evidence of professional leadership, leading to innovation in practice.

You will be;

*Qualified to function as mentor for pre registration students.
*Willing to be flexible and adaptable.
*Aware of Clinical Governance process
*Clinically competent in name clinical area/specialty

In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
