We are seeking a capable and committed Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our client's Day Procedure Unit team. Our client is the major health facility on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
The unit is multi-purpose and is open Monday to Friday with an average of 30-55 patients daily.
As a leader within the unit, you will be a role model, ensuring appropriate standards of assessment, planning and implementing evaluation of programmes of care are delivered to patients and clients within DPU.
Training for the Endoscopy unit will be provided and the implementation of high standards of care will a be key factor of this role.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the Agenda for Change banding system, but applied their own salary scale, as above.
Combined with the lower tax rate and no VAT this equates to a salary of over one band higher than UK Band 6.

Registered Nurse with full registration with the NMC.
At least two years' Surgical Ward/or Endoscopy experience, with at least one year UK-based.
Experienced in taking charge of the department in the absence of the Unit Manager.
Completion of a recognised Teaching and Assessing/Mentorship qualification.
