With the recent enlargement of our Trust we currently have band 6 vacancies within our Scrub Teams. With a great senior experienced team on board we are able to offer a supportive learning and development opportunity for all staff. Appropriate experience is essential for Band 6 applicants but we are happy to appoint people who are looking to expand their knowledge and skills within our different specialties. Our facilities combined with the latest in technology and on-site support services; enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery.

We have 3 main sites within the Trust; all able to offer different practice experiences:

Royal Free Hospital site: 21 operating theatres performing emergency and elective procedures for both adults and children in Hepatobiliary, Vascular, Plastics, Orthopaedics , Breast, ENT, Renal / Urology, Ophthalmic, Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Colorectal. The site is also the Vascular Hub for North Central London, a Regional Hand Trauma Center and a Transplant Center for Liver and Renal Transplantation.

Barnet Hospital Site: This is an emergency Centre with 8 operating theaters performing a range of emergency and day surgery procedures for both adults and children. Specialties include General surgery, Colorectal, Gynaecology, Obstetrics ENT/Max Fax, Urology and Orthopaedic trauma.

Chase Farm Hospital Site: This is an Elective Centre with 8 operating rooms performing in patients and day surgery for adults. Specialties include Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT/Max Fax, Breast surgery.

This is a big opportunity in a vibrant Trust, who is committed to staff education and development with Practice Educators available to teach on site and support is provided through mentors and a highly experienced team.
Rotational posts are available for staff who wish to undertake a development program which encompasses all 3 sites.
