This position is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic respiratory physiotherapist to be involved in a part-time capacity running and developing the critical care physiotherapy service. This post has come about due to flexible working arrangements.
The role forms part of the respiratory therapy team led by an 8a Physiotherapist including both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
There are 3 other Band 7’s, 7 Band 6’s and 6 Band 5’s alongside 3 Therapy Support Workers.
The Royal London is a major trauma centre with the Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU) treating a highly varied caseload including patients with head injuries, spinal cord injuries, patients presenting with polytrauma alongside general medical and surgical patients. . The post holder will lead a team consisting of 3 band 6’s and a band 5 physiotherapist.
They will take a lead in providing care to the ITU part of the 44 bedded ACCU consisting of 28 level 2 and 3 beds.
