Band 7 - Practice Development Nurse

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, experienced nurse with varied post registration experience to work as a Practice Development Nurse within the Emergency Department.

You will have extended clinical expertise and an interest in teaching and coaching. You will demonstrate critical thinking and the desire to create a learning environment in the service covered. You will need to be able work autonomously but also function well as part of a team.

The candidate will cover all aspects of emergency nursing, working alongside another PDN to develop and meet the demands of our pediatric and adult nursing teams. You will work alongside Senior Nursing colleagues within the emergency department to ensure that we are able to support our team to maintain the appropriate competency required to deliver excellent health care and to develop critical thinking skills.
