The Back Pain Service is a nationally recognised, Multidisciplinary Service dealing with patients who have been suffering from the effects of chronic pain. We are looking for a Band 7 Physiotherapist who will contribute to the multidisciplinary team using evidence-based practice in the assessment, treatment and management of people with long term pain both 1:1 and in a group environment. You must have a degree, or equivalent, in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration. You should have experience of, and an interest in, working with patients who need a chronic pain approach.
Working in community clinic locations, leisure centres and domiciliary settings, the pain service receives referrals from GP’s and other Health Care Professionals.
The post holder will be required to work in a variety of locations across the Trust, currently in the North and East of the City and will need to be able to travel independently between locations.
