Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist - Chronic Kidney Disease
Looking for a challenge? We want to recruit a dynamic and experienced renal nurse to join our innovative team running nurse led CKD clinics at the Royal Free Hospital and off site clinics. You will provide high quality clinical care for patients with CKD whilst advancing nursing practice within the specialty.
This offers an exciting development opportunity with the potential for further career progression. You should be flexible, motivated, with excellent communication skills, have demonstrable post registration renal experience with at least two years’ experience at band 6.
The ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload is essential. The applicant should ideally have experience in running nurse-led clinics, be educated to degree or masters level with proven management and leadership skills.
Our team provides nurse led clinics at the Royal Free Hospital and across our three kidney care centres located in north and central London. You will be required to rotate between sites.
Royal Free Hospital
We offer Consultant and Nurse led CKD, pre Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) and Transplant clinics.
Tottenham Hale Kidney and Diabetes Centre.
This is one of the largest stand-alone dialysis and kidney care centres in Europe. It provides a 48 stationed dialysis unit including a 5 stationed supported care training area, and Consultant and Nurse led CKD, pre RRT, Transplant, Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and Diabetes clinics.
St Pancras Kidney and Diabetes Centre
Kidney Care unit with 30 dialysis stations with an additional 12 stationed supported self-care and home haemodialysis training unit. It offers consultant and nurse led CKD, pre RRT, PD, diabetes and Home Haemodialysis clinics.
Edgware Kidney Care Centre
Kidney Care Unit with 29 dialysis stations with on-site consultant and nurse led CKD, pre RRT, PD and transplant clinics.
