Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust is no ordinary NHS hospital. We look different, feel different, and act different.
Whether you want to be a Nurse, Consultant, or part of the vital network of professionals who support the infrastructure and environment needed to provide the best patient care, when you join Hinchingbrooke you’re part of a family. That’s the beauty of a hospital like ours – we’re big enough to strive to be the best, small enough to care, and dedicated to your continued development and support.
Working as part of the IPC Team you will support the delivery of a safe, evidenced-based IPC work programme at Hinchingbrooke and deliver all aspects of IPC nursing as well as providing expert advice (including teaching) to staff in all aspects of IP&C. You will also be involved in developing strategic plans for Infection prevention and Control and developing Clinical Unit specific models of practice and monitoring methods.
Experience of working in Infection Prevention and Control and/or a qualification (or a willingness to undertake) is required for this role as are excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient safety and ability to work independently. If you think that you could take on the challenging but exciting role we look forward to hearing from you.
