Maternity Ultrasound


Based at Whipps Cross Hospital site

Permanent Position

Band 7

375 hours per week

We currently have an exciting opportunity for full time vacancies for 2 highly motivated, enthusiastic ultrasonographers to join our friendly team.

The post offers a full rotation in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Fertility, Abdominal & Small Parts ultrasound scanning.

We are a teaching hospital performing a large range of abdominal examinations. The obstetric services include nuchals for combined downs screening and a Fetal Medicine Unit within the department. We also provide a service for the Gynaecology Outpatient and Fertility Clinics.

The DMU or PG Diploma in Medical Ultrasound is essential and the successful candidate must be HPC registered.

We actively encourage and support staff with their professional development.

We would encourage newly qualified sonographers or an experienced Sonographer looking to develop their skills further to apply.
