Bank Receptionist/ Patient Administrator- Radiology Department

Job Description

Main responsibilities:

To provide an efficient administrative service within the Reception/ X-Ray functions, working within established policies and processes.

To ensure an exemplary level of customer service is upheld in the provision of service to patients, consultants and the hospital team.

Essential experience required:

Educated to GCSE Standard or demonstrate equivalent experience.

IT Literate, with ability to switch between multiple programmes

High degree of accuracy and a methodical approach to workload.

Good organisational and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work to deadlines.

Flexibility and adaptability to tasks, duties and rotas.

Ability to work in a multi-skilled environment.

Must be able to deal with problems and patient queries, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience on RIS (Radiology Imaging System) would be beneficial but not essential.

Working hours:   Bank hours - to be worked as and when required according to the needs of the business.
