Cygnet Health Care is one of the UK's largest independent providers of mental health and social care pathways, providing high value integrated services to a wide range of individuals. We aim to offer personalised care to service users with psychological, emotional and addiction disorders. We have established ourselves as providers of a full care pathway from medium secure services all the way through to supported living in the community.
Cygnet Hospital Derby is a modern purpose-built mental health unit located close to the centre of Derby, within easy reach of the M1 and near to the Peak district National Park the hospital provides care for men and women with mental illness and personality disorder in low secure and locked rehabilitation settings. We have a large, effective and award-winning multi-disciplinary team including; consultant psychiatrists, middle grade doctors, RMN nurses, social workers, psychologists and occupational therapists.
We need experienced and enthusiastic Bank/Casual RMN Staff Nurses to join us working as and when required and covering absences due to sickness, annual leave, etc.
This can be an ideal way to gain some extra money while working around family or study commitments, to gain extra experience and a way to see whether you would like to work for us permanently.
Bank staff are required to work for the first 6 months at the hospital at which they first applied and where they received induction training. After this time, they are able to work at other Cygnet units and will be paid at the rate offered by that unit.
We also pay you for your training, you will receive gross payments of £250 for completing your PMVA training and a further £250 for your online training once you have completed 5 shifts.
