Job Description

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides integrated acute and community Healthcare in the West Midlands serving a population of 260,000 residents. Walsall Manor Hospital houses the full range of district general hospital services. The £170 million development was completed in 2010 and we are continually upgrading. Construction of the new integrated critical care unit has commenced and is due to be completed 2017, and plans to extend the neonatal unit are underway.

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Registered Staff Nurses to join the Temporary Staffing/Nurse Bank.

Pay Rate - £1242 per hour (inclusive of WTD payment). Enhanced rates for nights and weekends are paid as per Agenda For Change guidelines.

You should have post qualification experience as a Staff Nurse.

As part of the Temporary Staffing Workforce we can support you with your Revalidation if you require.

Our Nurse Bank provides a pool of staff who are able to work flexibly. It is essential that you are reliable, punctual and work well within a team environment.

If successful in your application, you will be registered to our Nurse Bank and will be made aware of all mandatory training and other opportunities. Your hours of work will be “as and when required”.

You will be expected to work under Trust policies and adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct.
