AEM - A&E, Acute Medicine, Ambulatory Care, Cardiology, Care of the Elderly, Gastroenterology, MAU, MSSU, Respiratory
TASCC - General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, Theatres, ITU (experienced nurses only), Eye Ward
DTTO - Trauma & Orthopaedics
WHP - Paediatric A&E, Paediatrics General, NICU, midwives
We’ll match your current Pay Grade
We pay our Bank Nurses at the mid-point of AFC band 5 or higher! Show us your most recent NHS pay slip and we’ll match your grade and increment to the top of band 6 (working in your own specialty).
Hourly rate at mid-point band 5 or higher (inclusive of annual leave):
Saturdays and Nights: £1957
Sunday and Bank Holidays: £2392

About you –
Registered nurse with a valid NMC number – RN, RM, RMN, RSCN.
Qualified for at least 6 months with acute hospital nursing experience.
Work well in a team and be reliable and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
Adaptable and flexible to changing situations, working within Trust policies and the NMC Code of Conduct.

Ashford Hospital is near Heathrow and St Peter’s is in Chertsey, Surrey with 540 beds across the two sites of our Foundation Trust. Last year we had 92,000 visits to A&E, 32,000 Emergency Admissions and 34,000 planned admissions. We have ambitious plans for the future, with our brand new Birthing Centre opening in May, a new Admissions Lounge and Urology facility at St Peter’s. We aim to improve patient care by moving towards 7-day consultant cover, expand our specialist services - vascular, bariatric and colorectal surgery, paediatric surgery and our pain management service.
