Evelina London Children’s Hospital is at the heart of a network of children’s health services across South East England.
We provide a comprehensive range of children’s healthcare services with expanding services and we now have band 5 opportunities across all areas for experienced band 5 nurses.
Mountain floor at the Evelina Children's Hospital consists of a 42 bedded ward that incorporates Paediatric Surgery, General and Specialist Paediatric Medicine, a high dependency unit and complex ENT surgery. You will gain experience in all specialities by rotation within the ward. We link closely with paediatric A&E and PICU. In addition to serving the needs of the local population, we are also a tertiary referral centre. We offer a well established, dynamic multi professional team with a wealth of experience.
Savannah ward at the Evelina Children’s Hospital consists of 3 specialist tertiary services. Children are cared for in their own dedicated areas - Paediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Orthopaedics & Paediatric Neurology & inherited Metabolic Diseases. We provide a holistic child and family-centred approach to the management of children with chronic conditions requiring complex care. We are looking for highly motivated nurses with excellent communication skills to join our well established dynamic teams within each speciality.
Beach floor provides a multi-disciplinary team approach maintains a high standard of care for children and young people. The floor is split into three areas Nephro-urology, an integrated dialysis unit and Short Stay surgery area. We can offer nurses the opportunity to further develop and deliver quality evidence based care to patients and their families across all specialties. We offer a friendly and supportive environment with continuing professional development.
Ambulatory care includes Husky day case unit and Ocaen - our busy outpatients area where most children have their first experience of a hospital. To be part of this team you will need excellent communication and clinical skills, as children from all specialities will pass through these areas.
