Oliver House School is an independent specialist day and residential school for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour.

Our aim is to bring about the best in every young person to enable them to achieve positive experiences and progress according to their own individual abilities. The desired outcome is for young people to achieve success in accredited qualifications and to gain increased levels of independence to enable them to maximise their strengths, abilities and ambitions.

Job Advert Role Description

We currently have employment opportunities within six community based Children’s Homes located within the Leyland, Ribbleton & Haighton areas.

Under the direction of senior colleagues, you will effectively support the delivery of care and education to all the students and young people.  Your own actions will comply with local procedures and corporate policy, statutory regulations and quality standards.  NVQ/Diploma L3 Caring for Children and Young People and relevant experience in a children's residential setting is desirable.
