Bromley CAMHS

Neurodevelopmental Team

Fixed term 12 months – 375 hours per week

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic nurseto provide a highly specialist service for children and young people in the Borough of Bromley.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

In the neurodevelopmental team we see children and young people up until the age of 18 who have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD or learning disabilities with comorbidity of mental health difficulties. We provide assessment and treatment .

The successful candidate will need to have post registration experience gained within a mental health or Paediatric learning disability setting; You will need to have a good understanding and a high level of competence with your therapeutic skills and be responsive and flexible in your approach to working with children and young people. Most of all you need to be passionate about the mental health and emotional wellbeing of Children and young people and you must be open to new ways of working and committed to multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working too.

If you think you have the personality and qualities as well as the knowledge and experience and you want to work alongside a dedicated and highly motivated team and develop your skills further to become a confident and specialist practitioner then this is the post for you.
