An exciting opportunity has arisen to apply for a full time Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner / CAMHS Nurse post. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with commitment to providing high quality, evidence based compassionate care.

The multidisciplinary team based in Rhyl offers a range of therapeutic services to children and young people. A programme of induction and regular supervision will be provided along with opportunities for further professional development. Key duties include providing direct clinical assessments, and therapeutic interventions with children young people and families in addition to early intervention and prevention activities such as professional consultation to colleagues in other agencies. The post may include some weekend working to support the implementation of the weekend crisis response from CAMHS. This development is part of an all Wales programme to deliver 7 day CAMHS crisis care to children and young people.

Relevant experience of working clinically with children adolescents or a mental health setting either during employment or training would be advantageous and the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.

With effect from 1st January 2016 points 1,2,3 and 4 on AfC Pay Band 1 and Pay Band 2 will be adjusted to £16,132 to reflect the incorporation of the living wage.
