We are actively recruiting for a Cardiac Physiologist work at a Mobile Unit, London.

What does being a Cardiac Physiologist at InHealth involve?

This role is aimed at an experienced BSE accredited Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Echocardiography, to perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with [1] BSE minimum dataset and [2] InHealth Echotech reporting guidelines.

Job Requirements

What skills and experience will you need to apply?


  • Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with [1] BSE minimum data set and [2] InHealth Echotech reporting guidelines.
  • Demonstrate awareness of current developments in clinical practice, and participate in training sessions including expansion of clinical skills as appropriate.
  • Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Comply with the ‘local’ Health and Safety site rules (including emergency procedures) and key corporate policies including information governance.
  • Ensure that a duty of care to patient confidentiality and safety is always maintained, that the clinical safety of patients is never compromised and that patients are fully aware of all clinical / reporting processes.
  • Liaise with clinical lead, GPs and relevant hospital departments for urgent clinical referrals.
  • Support the administration needs of senior management.


  • Participate in the investigation of incidents and complaints relating to Echocardiography services and, where required, the wider organisation.
  • Attend national and international conferences appropriate to the modality, including bi-annual training days.
  • Support the Registered Manager in delivery of services that meet the Care Quality Commission fundamental standards for health care.
