Cardiac Rehabilitation Service
Salary: £21,909 - £28,462
Hours: 265 hours per week (6 months Secondment or fixed term contract considered – maternity leave cover)
Location: Countywide - Based at Edward Jenner Court, Brockworth, Gloucester
Are you looking to develop your community nursing skills in specialist services?
If so this represents the ideal opportunity to develop your nursing competencies within the supported environment of a specialist multi-disciplinary Cardiac Rehabilitation team.
You will need a minimum of one to two years post registration experience at least 6 months of which should be in the field of Cardiology.
This post will enable you to develop your clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills within the supported environment of a specialist team.
In addition you will also develop enhanced communication skills in facilitating and presenting group patient education programmes.
As part of this development opportunity a full induction programme will be provided as will the opportunity to visit other teams within the department including the heart failure and diabetes services as part of the role.
This role necessitates the ability to travel countywide.
