Our Community Cardiac Rehabilitation Service is looking for a highly motivated and skilled nurse to join our enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team. Experience of working with patients with cardiac conditions is essential.
You will be responsible for providing individual patient assessment and advice, delivering group self-management sessions and supporting group exercise programmes for patients following a cardiac event or with heart failure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
The Cardiac Rehabilitation programme is run at St Albans City Hospital and community venues in Hemel Hempstead and Watford. All staff work across all sites every week.
You will be joining a friendly supportive team where professional guidance is readily available. Continuous professional development is strongly encouraged
You will be involved in service development and audit.
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £961 and a maximum payment of £1,665 per annum
