We are actively looking for Support Workers to provide care and support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Rusthall Respite is a small service constituting of 5 bedrooms. Each working day is different, meaning you never know what kind of rewarding experience you're going to endure. We often go out, usually close to Tunbridge Wells town centre, to places including the cinema and the bowling alley which is always an enjoyable period for all involved. Sometimes we take our sense of adventure further afield, making for exciting weekends to the likes of Brighton and Eastbourne. In short, we help people have a fun break from family, whilst the family are able to have a break themselves. We deal with lots of different people all the time, so needless to say that excellent communication skills are key.
The work can be challenging but the rewards of supporting people to achieve their goals make every day meaningful.
