We are looking for Care Assistants to join our professional and friendly team to help our residents meet their full potential and enjoy a high quality of life. We believe one moment can make an entire day so if you are enthusiastic, committed and keen to progress your career in the challenging yet very rewarding field of neurological care we'd like to hear from you.

Ideally you will have a QCF2 or be willing to complete this within 12 months and we will support you in achieving the new Care Certificate. If you are looking to develop your skills with an expert national charity and make a real difference to people's lives please get in touch.

Set in the beautiful grounds of Chantry Park in Ipswich, The Chantry is a Sue Ryder specialist neurological 29 bed care centre. We care for people aged 18 and over who have life-changing conditions. We are here for people with physical disabilities and degenerative conditions such as motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's - as well as those with acquired conditions resulting from a brain or spinal injury or stroke.

At Sue Ryder not only do we treat more conditions than any other UK charity in our hospices, neurological care centres and out in the community; we also campaign to improve the lives of people living with them. We see the person, not the condition, taking time to understand the small things that help that person live the fullest life they can. Our shops, fundraising and volunteers support us to be there for people at the most difficult time of their lives.
