Havencourt is situated on the outskirts of Dunotter woods in the picturesque town of Stonehaven it accommodates 42 individualised rooms with en-suite facilities. The home specialises in the delivery of care for Dementia and Nursing care for the elderly .

We have an experienced staff team of 40 who delivery the highest standard of care through continued training to SVQ level and varied experiences, with in the residents home.

We strive to continue to improve our delivery of care with the introduction of our Quality of Life Programme which fully involves and at the centre of is the Resident, their family and all multi agencies involved to ensure the resident remains at the centre of all decisions being made.

As a Care Assistant you will show warmth and support to our residents and their families; helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

So as a Care Assistant what do you need to do to make this happen?

  • Communicate professionally and warmly with all visitors to the home including family and friends

  • Act as a key worker to a number of residents, providing friendship and supporting their needs.

  • Take part in social activities both within and externally to the home

  • When required, accompany residents to appointments outside the home

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene needs

  • Work as part of a team

  • Attend training as required
