£35.000 to £40.000 (negotiable)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a small Nursing Home in Addlestone, Surrey.

The Nursing Home provides quality care to a high standard, to End-of-life, Palliative Care and Dementia service users. They provide a happy, secure environment and congenial surroundings for every resident. Everything we do is aimed at providing them with the quality of the life they deserve. Each person is recognized as an individual and care and attention is provided to meet each specific physical and emotional need.

Applicants for the Care Home Manager role, should meet the following criteria:

  1. Must be a Manager, with QCF/NVQ lever 4 or 5
  2. Sound experience in a management position in a Care Home, preferably caring for elderly residents
  3. Ability and experience of leading and mentoring a team
  4. Good knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements, Safeguarding procedures and best practices of care
  5. Must have solid clinical skills, plus have the ability to ensure training of staff, supervisions and appraisals are done all on time. Also residents daily records are kept up to date.
  6. Good administration skills and must be computer literate
  7. Must have strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  8. Ability to market the Nursing home and have the ability to fill the beds
