Job Description

Are you a passionate, kind and considerate Care Home Manager, looking for a new opportunity?

We are looking for a Care Home Manager to work in a beautiful care home in the Bognor Regis area. As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for running the home and overseeing all staff members. As part of the leadership team you will be responsible for ensuring the whole facility operates effectively and of course ensuring we deliver the very best quality care.

The role:

  • Provide clear vision, strategies, direction and support to your staff while working in a way which is central to the values and cultures of the company
  • Planning and prioritising the work of the team
  • Risk assessments, care plans and full input towards the support of all service users
  • Managing performance
  • Identifying and meeting staff and own learning and development needs
  • Coaching and 'on the job training'
  • Developing and managing customer relationships, both internal and external
  • Pro-actively identifying potential problems and making objective decisions to find resolutions
  • Updating company database, answering emails.
  • Participation in the on-call manager rota – approximately 1 weekend in 4

Job Requirements


  • NVQ Level 4 and RMA or LMCS level 5 essential
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Deputy Manager or above in a care environment
  • Previous experience with complex healthcare needs - preferably in the West Sussex area
  • Learning disability support background advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of the Fundamental Standards & Health and Social Care Act essential
  • IT Literate
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Desire to help people
  • Friendly and caring nature
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Patience
  • Ability to drive is preferred
