Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust was formed in 2006 and became integrated with NHS Coventry in April 2011.

The Trust provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.

Services are provided to a population of over one million people living in Coventry and Warwickshire and also a wider geographical area in some of our specialist services, we see on average around 5,000 patients every day.

Job Title: CAS Clinical Support Coordinator

Band: Band 3 (£16,800 - £19,655)

Length and Type of Contract: Permanent

Hours per week: 375 hours per week to be worked flexibly

Hours will include a weekly evening clinic on a Tuesday 500 to 830pm, and alternate Saturdays. Flexibility is required as hours will need to be worked over Monday-Saturday and can include an 800am start.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Support Coordinator to join our team.

Clinical Assessment Services provide a variety of different specialities within a clinical setting where specialist equipment is used that will require specific cleaning and decontamination (training will be provided).

As Clinical Support you will be supporting the day to day running of a range of outpatient clinics such as Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Gynaecology, Minor Surgery, Ophthalmology and Urea Breath Testing (UBT).

You will be responsible for chaperoning clinicians, undertaking physiological measurements such as Blood pressure, Pulse, O2 saturation levels UBT and Spirometry.

The post will involve maintaining clinical resources, pharmacy and stock requisitions; the provision of written information and support for the patient to help them understand their journey.

You will also be required to provide support to the domiciliary phlebotomy team by undertaking home visits to perform venepuncture for patients.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a community setting, good interpersonal skills and a reliable, professional attitude.
