An opportunity has arisen within the Chemotherapy Unit at Northwick Park Hospital. We are moving to a newly refurbished unit and are looking for, enthusiastic and motivated nurses to join our team to provide excellent standards of patient care.

We are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 nurse with at least 12 months post registration experience who is looking to develop their knowledge and skills within oncology and haematology chemotherapy day care services. Previous cancer experience is desirable however not essential. The applicant should be IV competent. Cannulation and venepuncture are essential. The successful applicant will complete a recognised chemotherapy and Foundations in Cancer course. There will be opportunity for pay progression on the successful completion of training and demonstration of competency. The applicant should be able to organise and prioritise their own workload, to work within an environment that requires flexibility and sometimes the need to work under pressure as well as providing and maintaining high standards of care to patients and good communication within the multi-disciplinary team.

The Macmillan Chemotherapy Suite provides care for patients with solid tumour and haematological malignancies who require day case chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies and supportive and preventative treatments.
