Would you like to support the York & Selby Children and Young People’s Services? The teams provide assessment and treatment for children and young people who are having difficulties with emotional mental health up until their 18th birthday.
We are looking for enthusiastic, empathic volunteers aged 18 and over to help our staff to enhance the visits for children, young people and their families/ carers, to promote a more positive experience.
There are two roles available within the service.
The team role includes supporting staff with participation groups, intervention groups, and supporting clinicians on home visits.
The admin role involves providing administrative support to the admin team. Tasks include, assisting with clinics –greeting patients and taking them to clinic rooms, setting up group resources and other general office duties.
Supervision and essential training will be provided.
If successful volunteers will be subject to a DBS check being completed. Limited actual out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
