Clinical Fellow in Cardiology
Aintree Cardiac Centre
Applications are invited for the above post to commence as soon as possible, working at the Aintree Cardiac Centre, a University Teaching Cardiac Unit and an NHS Beacon Centre, offering the full range of adult cardiac services.
The postholder will be involved in Cardiology clinics and, in non-invasive cardiac tests including echocardiography, TOE and stress echo. The post will also involve working at Registrar level, on the CCU and the Cardiac Ward. The post holder will also have a session within their job plan for invasive cardiology and to train in and undertake cardiac catheterisation. There will also be a session for Research & Audit.
The post offers experience and exposure at Registrar level in all aspects of Cardiology.
The applicant will ideally have completed General Medical Training and have some experience in Cardiology at SHO level or equivalent. MRCP is desirable but not essential.
