The JPUH have been given an overall rating of “Good,” following the Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection which took place in August 2015. This places us in the top 30% of acute trusts in the country.

The hospital is located less than a mile from long sandy beaches and is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Norfolk Broads. There is a wide choice of good local schools and attractive house prices. The cathedral city of Norwich is only 40 minutes away with excellent shops, restaurants and evening entertainment.

All applicants will be required to demonstrate a working knowledge of the English language.

There is an active teaching/research programme within the department and there are links with the University of East Anglia. There is an excellent purpose built training and education centre on site at the James Paget University Hospital.
