Job Description

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre (AHSC), is one of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching hospitals with a turnover of nearly £1 billion, 15 million patient contacts a year and more than 11,500 staff based across 5 main sites in South East London.

The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services across its different sites, and specialist services from King’s College Hospital (KCH) site in Camberwell and the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site in Bromley.




Applications are invited for the above post in our busy, inner city, research active department to work with the HIV Medicine Team. The position is tenable from November 2016 and provides fully supervised training. The position is suitable for candidates planning careers in Genitourinary / HIV Medicine, General Medicine, or Infectious Diseases.

Our service delivers fully integrated sexual health care to the local community and provides care for 2,800 people with HIV infection. The post involves the in-patient and outpatient care of patients with HIV infection attending Kings College Hospital

The post-holder will be expected to participate fully in the teaching, audit and research activities of the department.
