Clinical Lead - Nursing Home

Job Description

My client is seeking a Clinical Lead (RGN) to work in the nursing home environment providing nursing care for the elderly. This nursing home has an excellent CQC rating.

Remuneration Rackage:

Salary c£38,000pa
25 days holiday
£1,000 Welcome bonus
Medical/Life assurance after first 12 months
42 hours a week with on call duty every other weekend
relocation allowance
ongoing training
bonus on successful completion of probation period

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will require strong up to date clinical skills, good knowledge of CQC, the ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate strong leadership skills to assist the Home Manager with the day to day running of the home.
Ensure safe administration of medication and treatments within NMC guidelines and my clients medication policy.
Report any ill-health amongst residents and make appropriate requests for GP/outside professional visit where necessary.
Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals and in accordance with NMC guideline and association policy.
Assess of all aspects of residents needs and provide health supervision and nursing when required.
Maintain professional development through attending and contributing towards staff training, supervisions and meetings.

The successful candidate will hold NMC Registration and have previous experience of management in a UK Care home at Deputy or Unit Manager Level or currently Clinical Lead.
