Clinical Lead - Occupational Health

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum excellent benefits package

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

We are currently looking for a highly-motivated, experienced, proactive Occupational Health Nurse to assist with the leadership and management of a reputable occupational healthcare organisation. You will be employed by one of the UK's leading occupational healthcare providers, succeeding in establishing a superb reputation across a range of sectors. They are focused on promoting excellent health and wellbeing and maintaining professional standards within each of their sectors.

This is an exciting new role will involve leading a fresh team of occupational health nurses across two sites, both near to Preston. There is parking available at both of the sites and you must be a driver.

You will be responsible for two new teams and will provide clinical leadership to all clinical staff, making arrangements for effective client safety and clinical governance. You will also be required to carry out reviews, develop and maintain excellent internal and external business relationships with key individuals, maximise business opportunities, develop and motivate teams to enhance their performance and skills, and assist with Health/Wellbeing events or workshops where appropriate.

Additionally, you will be required to deliver a full OH remit including pre-employment assessments, drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, vaccinations and case management.

Person Specification:

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced, self-motivated Registered General Nurse with proven management experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be a qualified nurse and hold a valid NMC registration, as well as an Occupational Health (OH) qualification. You must have a flexible working approach and be able to manage and prioritise time effectively. You will also be competent of working autonomously and in a team, as well as being able to demonstrate up to date knowledge in your sector.
